Tasks

  • Responsibility for the professional and disciplinary management of the accounts receivable and accounts payable team (currently approx. 4 employees, with potential for further growth).
  • Ensuring the scalability of our accounting processes - both in terms of personnel and in terms of efficient workflows.
  • Central point of contact for suppliers and customers; close coordination with the purchasing and sales departments. You will also reliably deal with last-minute requests from management.
  • Carrying out complex accounting transactions and analyzing and validating financial data.
  • Design and implementation of modern end-to-end processes in accounts receivable and accounts payable, as our processes are currently still being developed and changed.

Profile

  • Sound technical knowledge: You have a solid background in finance and accounting and are confident in using SAP S4 HANA (or comparable ERP software), Excel and PowerPoint. Your business studies, ideally with a focus on accounting or controlling, will complement your practical experience perfectly.
  • Analytical strength & structure: You work on complex topics with a clear head, high analytical acuity and a strategic view. Your way of working is structured, solution-oriented and characterized by high quality standards.
  • Strong communication skills: You communicate clearly and purposefully in German and English (min. C1) and are able to convey even complex content in an understandable way.
  • Responsibility & leadership: Initial management experience is an advantage, but more important to us is your willingness to take responsibility, proactively shape processes and achieve joint success in a team.
  • Start-up mentality: initiative, commitment and the desire to get things done are a matter of course for you. You like to work independently and are also a real team player.

Benefits

  • Flexible working: Free organization of working hours, remote option within Germany and up to 25 days in other European countries.
  • Attractive remuneration & extras: 30 vacation days plus Christmas and New Year's Eve off as well as Xtra-Plus for additional unpaid vacation; allowances for internet, mobile phone and meal allowance.
  • Health & well-being: Support for bike leasing, Urban Sports Club and other offers for sport and work-life balance.
  • Financial security: pension allowance, continued payment of salary in the event of illness and cover in the event of disability and death.
  • Culture & development: Flat hierarchies, room for ideas, constructive feedback and co-design.
